Hulls Wood at Fish Creek Provincial Park nestled in the South of Calgary was the perfect backdrop for Kristin and Jeff’s Summer wedding. The day started with me meeting the girls at the bride’s childhood home while they were finishing getting ready as Jared headed over to Hull’s Wood to meet the guys who were doing a little fishing before the ceremony.
Kristin and Jeff had already legally gotten married so they chose a good friend to perform the ceremony, and he did a fantastic job - it was funny, real, and of course pulled on our heart strings as well. We did the family photos at Fish Creek Park immediately following the ceremony as well as a few bridal portraits before moving to Lake Sundance for some more bridal portraits and the reception.
Lake Sundance made for a beautiful location for photos with waterfalls, a fountain, bridge and beautiful trees. And the Hall was perfect for the reception with a breath taking lake view and decor that gave the space such a romantic feel. We were able to sneak off at sunset for a few last pictures before we left which turned out stunning. We love getting a few sunset photos for our couples as it adds a nice variety to the wedding package and by that time of the night the couples are usually much more relaxed and looking forward to a nice little break from the busy day that was.
Kristin and Jeff, thank you so much for including us in your big day! Congratulations!
